FRIENDS Cuba/Portville
Had a wonderful sunny day with two friends. We began by visiting Cuba Cheese Shoppe. According to a Native American Seer, I was born under the Raspberry Moon. No wonder raspberries are my favorites. Here I picked up the raspberry walnut cheese spread for celery sticks. Then I discovered dark chocolate raspberry sponge candy clusters, something new. A few groceries completed my shopping spree. This is definitely not the place to visit when trying to embrace a holistic dietary regime!
Then we did an Adventure Lab consisting of viewing murals created by local artists. “These murals depict local images from a time gone bye; so, slow your stride and take in the view of a simpler life.” At one of the additional murals, met two artists working on the mural. Joyce is pictured with the three of us, while the second artist took our pic.
Love the way artists incorporate structural items … owl eyes and mouse hole.
After our time in Cuba, we ventured on to Portville where we enjoyed three EarthCaches.
Theresa is pictured with the only snake she actually likes.
