Learned about the Healing Horses at a Holistic event in Ohio. After the event, visited Serendipity Stables. Experiencing the magical energy of theses horses, wanted to do something special for Michelle, the visionary behind the stables. Artist and friend (Barb) drew the horses, one drawing for Michelle and one for me.
Felt this magical energy during my session with Star. Also chatted with a couple travelling hundreds of miles away to bring their child for healing sessions. Diagnosed with MS, he was unable to hold utensils and eat without assistance. Now he is able to do both, with improvement after each session.
“… At an age well beyond what most horses live to be, McDougall began to enrich the lives of fragile children. Hundreds of children experienced positive changes as they sat upon or interacted with this beloved old horse. Honored by Purina as the “Oldest Living Horse in America” and immortalized by Reader’s Digest (Some Sort of Magic) in August 1998, McDougall’s legacy lives on with the Serendipity Stables Healing Horses in York Center, Ohio…”
A small Midwestern community becomes the epicenter of miracles when a mysterious woman brings a healing horse to town.
Thank you!!!
There’s an old saying-I can’t remember the attribution- “There’s something about the outside of a horse that’s good for the inside of a man.”. Adeline, the other horses featured on your post, and many non-famous horses who work in therapy programs for children and adults prove that it goes much deeper.
I know a fair amount about horses; their personalities are as varied as any other group of intelligent beings. Those who are born with a spiritual bond with humans are a special gift to us that should be treasured.
Thanks again for sharing these miracles.
love these kind of stories and love the Adeline story too. great show to watch and enjoy always.
