Mystery or Haunting

Attended the paranormal event at the Bradford Library yesterday with Len, who is visiting for several days. The presentation was given by the Native American Spirit Hunters regaling us with stories of their encounters with the unseen.

Today Len, Theresa and I visited the Stone Tower at Allegany State Park. There was a Geocaching Adventure Lab that highlighted the features at that site, like the view atop, arrow, benchmark, kiosk, etc.

On the way home, we decided to stop at Arby’s for curly fries and Jamocha shakes. At home, we watched a movie on DVD while enjoying our shakes. The internet was glitchy yesterday and this morning. So, after the movie ended, decided to try one last thing … completely unplugging to see if that solved the problem. Yay, problem solved. Then with internet service restored, back to continuing our binge watching of Eureka. I sat down and reached for my unfinished shake. Alas, it was gone!

Len can be absent-minded, so thought he had simply picked up my drink and washed my cup along with his. Only one cup … Looked high and low … the cup disappeared. Hmmm – mystery or haunting on this Friday the 13th?!

NEXT DAY UPDATE …
Len went on a search for the missing cup. After wandering and searching for quite some time, he actually located it in the garage. Why he returned to the garage after dark, brought his cup with him, and did so unbeknownst to me remains a mystery. However, the cup was moved corporeally and not non-corporeally. Whew!

  1. A little pre-Halloween mystery! Are you SURE it was Len who moved it? Just kidding; glad you can breathe easier! 🥤👻

  2. mystery is why he moved his cup but I’m sure he finished your drink for sure.
so don’t leave any for later next time mystery is solved.
